Glen: “I drive to four to ten customers every day, depending on their orders and routes. I have been warmly welcomed here. They didn’t send me on the road blindly. Both colleagues and supervisors taught me to load the truck correctly, because we almost always do that ourselves, as well as guided me well during the first days on the road.”
Freedom and interaction in one job
“I like the freedom on the job, the variety in my working day and the interaction with customers. So you are on the road alone a lot, but at the same time you are in contact with colleagues throughout the day via various channels. So you are basically never alone. Moreover, I really like the fact that I was able to fulfil my dream as a truck driver. And that without having to compromise on my family life, because I come home to them practically every evening.”
