Corinne: “As an administrative assistant at RIMA Trans, I start my day by preparing routes for our drivers. I call customers to make appointments, prepare the necessary paperwork such as documents for customs, and make sure the drivers are well on the road every day. Something on our drivers’ minds? Then they can always come to me.”
“I joined RIMA Trans eight years ago, and back then the company was much smaller. During those early days I was really a jack-of-all-trades, but as an organisation grows there is also more need for specialisation. Over the years, I have filled various roles within RIMA, from customer service to invoicing. When the opportunity arose to return to a role with more direct interaction with heart drivers, I grabbed it with both hands.”
Time for each other and a smile
“My colleagues are also a bit like family. We jump into the breach for each other. Whether it is a last-minute customer request or a colleague who needs help with a personal problem, we are there for each other.”
“We work hard, but there is always room for a joke and a laugh. This keeps you motivated and focused. You are also not a number here, but really valued as a person. And not only by your colleagues, also by managers.”
